Dr Richard Ouverson grew up near Mason City, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1969. He and Dr Anna married the day after graduation. They moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he worked in a small animal practice. In January of 1970 they moved to Madison. Dr Dick loves hunting elk in Idaho with his 2 sons, fishing for walleye, gardening and entertaining his grandchildren.

Dr Anna Ouverson grew up in Linden, Texas. She attended Stephen F Austin University at Nacogdoches for 1 year. At that time, women were not allowed to attend veterinary college in Texas, so she moved to Ames, Iowa, to attend Iowa State University. She and Dr Dick have 2 sons, John, a computer programmer in Kansas City and Dr Bill. They have 9 grandchildren. She loves her Schnauzer T.S., church, photography, computers, and her grandchildren. She enjoys using chiropractic and laser therapy to help animals and natural therapies. |

Dr Bill Ouverson grew up in Madison. He attended undergraduate college at USD in Vermillion and Veterinary College at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, graduating in 1997. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. He specializes in orthopedic surgery and small animal medicine. He and his wife Abbie have 7 sons, Isaiah, Israel, Judah, Malachi, Ezekiel, Moses and Titus. In his free time, he loves to hunt and be outdoors with his family.
